The tender faith of children is precious to God and to us at Zion Church. Jesus himself said:
"Let the children come to me and do not hinder them for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these." - Mark 10:14b
You will find many ministries at Zion designed to meet the needs of your children and to encourage them to know God through Jesus Christ. As a church we desire to help families in our community raise their children to love God and to live for Him.
Child care for nursery through age two is provided during our morning worship service. Children between two and seven years of age are dismissed part way through the service to attend Childlren's Church where they learn to worship through songs and activities with age appropriate activities.
Adventure Club (Wednesdays after School, October through April) - An exciting fun packed ministry for children attending grades 1 through 6. We meet at the church for a time of fun and fellowship. The children are led through a special time of music, games, Bible lessons, craft activities, and an exciting welcome and year-end activity. Kids have a great time celebrating the goodness of God while learning how to respond and grow in wisdom and character.
Summer Adventure Club Day Camp (Bible lessons on exciting principles of Christian living)- A five day summer program for children who have just finished Kindergarten through grade 5. This camp sees dozens of children, and more than 20 volunteers, enjoying five days of fun-filled learning. Through an action packed curriculum of Bible lessons, crafts, games, and sing-a-longs, we let the children know that they are special in God's sight, and that faith in His love for them and a relationship with Him are the keys to discovering His love and plan for their lives.
